Bill Hockley and Prime Suspect |

| I started sailing in my teens and have owned eight boats over the last forty years. My favourite was an ex Mini Transat E boat which I raced for ten years including cross channel and numerous trips to the Isles of Scilly. I have also owned two GRP Tikis, a 21 and a 26 which were fabulous boats to sail but sadly lacking in living space. My sailing experience ranges from an Optimist to a 55’ trimaran with numerous boats in between including two seasons on a First Class Europe and many miles in a Sadler 25. My current boat is a 1973 Cutlass 27 which I purchased in a rather sorry state in June 2006. My plan was to restore it with a view to undertaking extended offshore passages when I retire. The JAC08 will be my first ocean passage. |
