| By the time the Jester Challenge starts I'll be 64 years old. I started sailing when I was 10 so quite a while. Im an Offshore Yachtmaster Instuctor mainly teaching shore based courses. Several entrants have taken advantage of my basic astro weekends run at Alan Chaltons office (Pipedream)
at Dunmow. I took part in three Round Britain and Irland two handed Yacht Races in the eighties. In 2007 I sailed on a Maxi 1000 to the North Cape of Norway. Im married with two children in thier thirties and a two year old grandson. Unfortunately he has major heart problems so Im using the Challenge to raise money for the Little Hearts Matter charity that helps support children and families with Heart trouble. My web sight sould be working soon. My boat is a fin keel Marcon Tomahawk 25 sail no 169, it has a red hull and white top sides and white sails, with a red white and blue spinnaker. |
