I'm 57 years old, have been sailing since I was a child.
Most notable sailing was in the tail of Cyclone Joy in 1990 in the Pacific in a 24' boat weighing only 650 Kgs all up.
I was more interested in racing until 2002 when a friend convinced me to cruise to Sweden and back both single handed in our boats. Having crossed the Atlantic in 2005 west to east and saying I would never do it again, somehow I've convinced myself to
undertake the Jester Challenge.
