When I bought Aspect all my friends said I would not like the sailing attributes of the Cobra. Having sailed Aspect for a season I know they were wrong. Aspect has a fin keel with skeg hung rudder and as with all sailing vessels if you get the rig balanced  the yacht will sail well without too much hassle. She has a lot more in the accommodation with full standing headroom a large beam with tumble home. She is certainly a lot drier than the Folkboat with more freeboard. The stowage is also larger both for water and food. I have sailed alone for almost 300 miles in the last season and feel confident in the vessel. I hope that this time I achieve the destination as opposed to 2008 when I retired with steering failure. The only complaint is I do not have a Seafeather windvane on Aspect, Which I fitted to Lo Shu after 2008 and proved to be a very reliable member of the crew, However I will have a second tiller pilot. I am not fully up to schedule with jobs to do but am sure I will be on the line with the rest of the challengers at the start. The other end! we don't know what lies in between! Good luck to all starters and for those that don't complete remember it is the taking part that counts not the first home, Bon Voyage.

Tony Saunders.
